Pre-Festival Concert Reflection

I felt the pre-festival concert had some great elements and some elements we need to improve on. On a personal level, I felt I did well, especially in the march because I got notice that I would be playing on that song on the day of the concert. Even though my music fell from the stand during the concert as I was crashing the cymbals, I felt my performance itself went well. As an ensemble, our strength was that we incorporated elements that we practiced during rehearsals in the concert itself. We stayed together and played well. Our weakness was not tightening down the songs to perfection. We can improve on that during the upcoming week by really pinpointing those minor details and following through with perfection and excellence. I expect a great festival performance after a productive concert.
