(Late) Post-Concert Relfection

During the last concert. Our performance was truly artistic. This is because this was the concert that we really gelled together as an ensemble. During the rehearsals we would divide up into sectionals and hear what the other musicians sound like and gave people a taste of the ensemble as a whole. It also benefited us that we made the smaller elements of our piece come together such as the accompaniment to different pieces. As a musician, I hope to improve by mastering different instruments. In particular, I hope to master more of the pitched percussion instruments as well as the snare drum even though I already played on the snare drum once during this year.
